11th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC)
The Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) is an event that has gained a credible reputation within the global insurance industry, with active participation from insurers, reinsurers, brokers and other related professions from different regions. The conference brings together decision makers and leaders of the industry to discuss the key issues that are facing the region. Allianz Reinsurance Asia Pacific is proud to be associated with the 11th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference in 2011 as a Gold Sponsor.
The 11th SIRC will be held at Singapore’s latest tourist attraction – the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) – which boasts a beautiful roof garden; from 30th October to 2nd November 2011. The theme is "Asia’s Growth: Are We Capitalising on It?” which certainly will generate very interesting and beneficial discussions amongst the delegates.
Earth Hour 2011
Earth Hour 2011 took place on Saturday, March 26, 2011 worldwide. At 8:30 pm (Singapore time), cities around the world switched off their lights for one hour to show that it's possible to take action on global warming.
Allianz Reinsurance Asia Pacific participated for the third year to pledge its support to this event with the engagement of all our employees, to switch off the lights in the office on Friday, March 25.
